Off Road Activity Centre | Junior Open Coaching Day

Welcome to Off-Road Activity Centre.

Throughout 2026, we will be hosting regular motocross children's only group coaching days for a very limited number of riders. Small groups of 5 riders per group to maximise the quality learning time.

Our sessions are suitable for electric balance bikes, such as Revvi, as well as Oset, Torrot, RFN, and Ktm/ GasGas/Husqvarna E2/ E3/ E5 electric bikes, and up to 50cc petrol equivalents. New for 2026- we have a new ‘open plus' class’ for riders progressing onto 65cc bikes (And electric equivalent RFN E8) who are getting to grips with the…

Things to remember

This is a training event for children riders with their own bike and equipment. This is not a race

HOW DO I BOOK FOR MY SON/ DAUGHTER?

Our online booking system provides an accurate representation of our current availability. Kindly proceed by selecting the desired session and group.

HOW MANY OTHER RIDERS WILL BE IN MY CHILD'S RIDING GROUP?

Our maximum group size for experience days is 5 per class with a 1 coach to 5 rider ratio to ensure that each rider receives ample help and maximum guidance from the coaches.

CAN ADULTS RIDE AT OFF-ROAD ACTIVITY CENTRE?

Our facility operates differently from most conventional UK off-road tracks as we prioritise junior off-road training. All sessions on-site are supervised by a riding instructor to ensure safety and quality training. Adults are only allowed on the track during pre-booked coaching sessions- on separate days from our events.

DO YOU HAVE TOILETS ON SITE?

Yes, we have flushing toilets on site.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

In the interest of safety, we ask you to leave your pets at home.

WHERE CAN WE SPECTATE FROM?

We have a dedicated spectator area where you can see all of the tracks from one central point. Please note, that our spectator area is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for those with walking disabilities.

DO YOUR COACHING STAFF HAVE QUALIFICATIONS?

All of our coaches are experienced riders, NORA certified, and trained in motocross coaching.

IS THERE PARKING ON SITE?

We have a relatively small car park suitable for cars and small vans. Please park close to each other between the markers and be courteous to other users of the facility.

A huge thank you to everybody involved in the off-road activity center. This year has been huge in Rocket Riley's progression. He's moved up to a bigger machine and with the help and patients and commitment from everybody from the coaches to the entire staff network he has learned some valuable skills as he moves forward in his motor cross training. A hugely successful year which ended in Riley being awarded the silver baseball cap which for anybody in the know is a big deal. We can't wait for the coaching sessions to start up again after Christmas. we will be one of the first to put our name down and Riley again will be appearing with a brand new bike and livery to match his growing ambition. Highly recommended to anybody who wants their young one try this fantastic sport. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and we will take off where we finished next year.

Second time attending the open coaching day and both times have been fantastic. The coaches are great with the kids and I learnt a lot as well which we’ve been able to take to practice days and build on what we have learnt. Seeing his confidence grow throughout the day is special to watch. Can’t recommend the experience enough.
