What can I say this place is amazing from messaging via Facebook after seeing their page to booking  and confirming communication was amazing. My son has rode MX before and had a big crash speaking to the guys at the Center it was clear they know what they are doing.  They had my son back on a bike building his confidence within minutes and had him smiling again riding a bike.  For anyone wishing for their children to try MX this is the place to go facility’s are amazing. Clean toilets, drinks and snacks available we had our own clothing and helmet but this was all there ready to use if needed. We will be going back!!!!! Thank you again for such a great day

This was a birthday present for my 5 year old who is obsessed with motorbikes. It was the first time he tried one so he's had no previous experience. I was a bit worried if he'll be able to ride it as it was a bit bigger and heavier than his bike but the trainers were really good and managed to get him going in no time. My little boy absolutely loved it and is already asking when he can go again. I also loved the fact that they do a go pro run at the end which will ensure my boy has memories of his first motorcycle run. AMAZING!!!

Brilliant. We had our 8 & 6 year olds attend on the same day and despite them having only limited prior experience, they were both quickly promoted to riding around whilst standing and leaning their legs into corners. 

The setup is great and everyone really friendly and accommodating. Can’t fault it and we are going back next weekend.

Took my son for his first experience of off road biking and he loved it. Great coaching from the team had him set up for a great time on the bike. Already booked to go again.

Ok. Second visit & second review. Despite it being pretty muddy and slippery, both our boys (8&6) again loved the experience. The group even had a couple of races at the end - which they loved. Now I just get asked when they can come back!

I would really recommend to anyone wanting to get their kids going, especially before committing to buying your own bike.

What a fantastic experience! My 4y old son learned to ride a dirt bike. He was smiling and was excited throughout the whole time. I couldn't stop smiling myself either. The whole staff was welcoming, patient and well-prepared. All the gear was in the right size and the choice of a bike made it an enjoyable and safe experience for him. He is now looking forward to trying the bigger bike and racing against other kids. On top of that, we were offered free coffee and tea, which is always lovely! I wish them to succeed with their business and I am sure we will see each other again.

It was such a great day.
Luke and his team were really helpful throughout,  recommending nearby hotels (as we made a weekend out of it), giving us clear directions and making us feel welcome. 
My son felt settled straight away although slightly nervous as his first time riding . Luke and  Alfie went into a lot of effort to describe the bike,equipment and what was going to happen throughout the session. After the initial practising on the bike , we had a gd amount of track time. Totally worth it! Great all round experience and would definitely recommend it!
Great spectating views too .  The go pro video has given us memories to treasure and I'm sure will watch over and over !

Amazing! “Mummy can I come here everyday”. I took my son here for his first lesson on the mx10. Before his lesson he hadn’t even rode any type of motocross bike before. My son was very apprehensive before starting even though he wanted to give it a go.  As soon we arrived Luke introduced himself and started to talk to my son and I could see my son relaxing.  Luke done an amazing at explaining everything what will happen through the session and about the bike.  They went off to the track and my son didn't even look back. Luke ran the session really well. My son now keeps on asking when can he go back and of course wants his bike. Very friendly and experienced with an excellent setup. We would highly recommend.

The coaches really take their time with the kids to encourage the best out of the them. They get plenty of track time and the circuits are perfect for youngsters. The Oset bikes are like new and the perfect bike for a curious young motocrosser. I highly recommend this as your best option to try out dirt bike riding but be prepared, they'll want more 😉

Absolutely fantastic! I am so glad we found Off Road Activity Centre. Our son has been wanting to try out riding a dirt bike for so long but we struggled to find anywhere that would take him, being 7 years old.  We are not local but was well worth the hour drive. 

From my initial enquiry to the end of the session the communication from the team was excellent.

The coaches are fantastic with the kids and take the time to explain the bikes and techniques between high fives and fist bumps.

We turned up mortifyingly late and stressed but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and happy to adapt, making sure this was the very best birthday for my son. The staff were excellent, very friendly,approachable and professional and great with the kids.

My son was taught how to handle the bike,throttle control,breaking,balancing,standing etc, and by the end of the session he was so comfortable on the bike, he was doing jumps on some sections of the track.

I highly recommend this to others, as its an excellent way to introduce children to off road riding, its very safe,and your children will love it , and my son is already asking when we can go again.!

Upon reaching the centre, the team were very welcoming - they did a great job in getting my son ready and providing a brief intro to the bikes before taking them on the track! The track and bikes are well maintained - on our first ride we had Matt and Sam  as coaches who were brilliant. On the second ride we had Matt and Luke helping the young riders build confidence and learn the basics. Brought my son here as a birthday treat from his grandad. What a great time! I cannot reccomend OFAC enough, they were amazing with my son making sure he felt safe and gave him to confidence to ride. Thanks again :)

An amazing day that saw my five year old go from a keen but nervous first-time dirt bike rider to a confident and capable rider. As soon as he finished he asked when we could go back. Great team, relaxed environment and the perfect place to get little ones on two wheels. We are already looking to book another session.

Highly recommend the motorcross racing at the offroad activity centre. My son is 4 and a keen cyclist so when a family member bought this activity as a Christmas present I knew he would love it. The team are fantastic and very welcoming. I was nervous about him being so young on the bikes but he took to it straight away and was given all the necessary safety gear.  He now keeps asking me everyday if we can go back to do it all again. The coaches are fantastic and Roz is great. We will definitely be going back again.

Absolutely fantastic experience! 
My 6-year-old daughter absolutely loved it!. 
She can be quite shy, but the instructors were brilliant with her,  patient, encouraging, and really helped her feel at ease. It was amazing to see her confidence grow as the session went on. The setup was great, and everything felt really safe and well organised.
I Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with kids who want to try something a bit different. We will definitely be back!
